The Lido Isle Yacht Club Summer Junior Sailing Program is provided for children,grandchildren, nieces and nephews who are paid members under the LIYC’s membership of their parents or grandparents. Also, non residents are eligible to apply for the Jr. Sailing Program through their sponsor.

(Please note that the Lido Isle Community Association (LICA) phone number which is 949 -673 -6170 is NOT the same as the yacht club number.) The description of the classes and calendar dates will be on the website in February. Contact VC Jim Bailey or Sailing Director Ashley Simpson for additional information. LIYC family memberships forms may be obtained on the website under New Member Information. Any questions can be answered by Membership Chair: Jay & Diane Williams and Fred and Jenna Roman.
The Junior Summer Sailing Program at Lido Isle and coached activities with the Balboa Bay Fleet are scheduled for 6 weeks beginning on Monday, June 27 and ending on Thursday, August 4. The advanced sabot program (A-C1) will be extended to 7 weeks to include Sabot Junior Nationals in our bay at Newport Harbor Yacht Club this summer from August 7-11. Along with the Sailing events there are also fun social activities.
The Jr. Sailing Advisory Committee will gladly help you with any questions or additional information.
